I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kaplan (Newark, NJ) in Nov 2016
Interview
The interview was only about 25 minutes. It required you to present a well structured presentation about Kaplan's grad school materials. The interviewer would then ask you questions based on what you presented. Basically, prior to the interview you are asked to present on a topic that revolves around the prep options Kaplan provides. After I was done with the interview, and after she asked me questions, I was then able to ask her my own questions about the company. Interview finished.

Interview
Online application, phone interview, and Skype interview. The online application was very easy and successful completion leads to a phone interview. The phone interview was with the regional contact with whom I'd be working under and successful completion of that led to a final Skype interview with her where I gave a presentation on my ideas for the job.
