I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kareo (Irvine, CA) in Jun 2018
Interview
No organization on this place:
The interview was a mess: one of the guys had only a week in the company, he asked a question that his coworker told him " we don't aske this question here.
After that, the same new guy asked me a questions that he dreamed, then I response back "have you ever used that? do you use that here? and he said "no never.. sorry"
The HR lady did a great job, but those guys ruined her job. Grow up you're not a top company, not Facebook or Google.

Other Senior Software Engineer Interview Reviews for Kareo
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kareo (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2022
Interview
First interview was an informal chat with the hiring manager.
Second interview was a 1 hour discussion with the Director of Engineering or equivalent.
Third interview was 4 hours long and split up into sections, coding assessment, design assessment, cross functional.
They terminated my interview after the coding assessment citing that they need someone with more experience. I find that difficult to believe given that I solved both of their assessments and I shared my thinking and worked with them the whole way the process. There were a number of times that I was pulled back and pushed in the direction of how they wanted me to solve it even though I knew that there were other potential ways to solve it. They clearly had one way and no other way was good enough. There were 2 guys on the panel and one of them was very approachable and helpful but the other did not want to be there and it was very obvious. He was actually the one that came back to break the bad news to me.
I personally think that coding assessments in general do not result in the best hires. It just yields good test takers. I am a talented and experienced engineer but these fill me with dread and anxiety. I don't very often do well at them because of this. This is not a reflection of how I work in the real world.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kareo (Irvine, CA) in Mar 2018
Interview
The process was very standard, phone screening and then onsite interview, the questions wasn't too difficult, the interviewers were very friendly, they asked some algorithm and design questions and answered all my questions
I interviewed over 20 companies in the last month, and Kareo by far is the most professional company, they worked with me, answered my questions and concerns and didn't push me for a decision, they wanted to make sure it's good fit for both parties, and that's why i accepted their offer
