Anonymous Interview Candidate in Columbus, OH
I interviewed at KellyMitchell Group (Columbus, OH)
Everyone was kind. I don’t feel as though I was asked hard hitting questions, they just let me take the lead in providing my background and asking questions. I met with 4 people in the organization and ended with a day where I was shadowing different people’s roles. I backed out due to another offer.
- What do you like to do in your free time?

the interviewer was late to our call even after rescheduling. seemed friendly on the front end but all lies. talked up the sales position and fell for it. all fake and phony. not the job I expected
- situational challenging interview questions. study hard. long boring interview assessment that takes hours to complete.

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at KellyMitchell Group in May 2023
I have had the displeasure of connecting with more than one recruiter at Kelly Mitchell, and each one was worse than the next. The most recent woman that was recruiting for a Content Manager role basically shamed me for not being able to send her my resume the minute she contacted me (because I was at work in the middle of the day), but she then submitted my application and completely ghosted me - not answering my emails or phone calls - and I got no update on my applications at all, never heard from her again after she rushed me to submit. They are terrible recruiters who only care about collecting resumes to reach their own company goals and give absolutely no concern for their candidates. This collection of resumes for their own internal use has got to stop with these 'recruiting' companies, it is getting ridiculous.
- Went over my experience as it pertains to the role and just basic interest/qualification questions with the recruiter.

- What is your biggest weakness?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied online. I interviewed at KellyMitchell Group in Mar 2023
The interview was fairly short with typical questions about one's personal background, interest for the role, and future ambitions. The rep was polite and provided me sufficient info when I asked any questions.
- Tell me about why you think you're suited for this job?

Recruiters were very straight forward and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. All of it was a breeze thanks to them. They gave all sorts of recommendations and asked all the right questions that would help me get a better understanding of the role and my Match with it.
- Mostly experience and behavioral questions.

So professional and very friendly recruiters and onboarding staff are great. Seems like a great team to be apart of. And I am very excited and looking forward to join them.
- Where do I see my self with this position.

Anonymous Employee in Redwood City, CA
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at KellyMitchell Group (Redwood City, CA) in Sep 2022
I was contacted by a recruiter via LinkedIn about a role that very closely aligned with my experience. My recruiter was so down to earth, super eager, and easy to talk with. She was constantly updating me about the process and status of my candidacy - I've never been in touch with a recruiter that was so transparent and approachable. I had only two 30 min calls with my hiring manager and her manager and they came back with a decision within days. My faith in working with a recruiting agency is restored after this experience. I truly appreciate all my recruiter has done for me
- Typical questions, nothing out of the ordinary.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Saint Louis, MO
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at KellyMitchell Group (Saint Louis, MO)
Initial phone interview with the recruiter to go over the job, a 40 minute personality test, Zoom interview with the Sr. Managing Director and an in person interview with the same director at the office. I had been interviewing with the company for 3 weeks, and only received a generic email from the recruiter after I wasn’t asked to move forward to the next step. I found this to be disappointing. We as candidates pour a lot into the interview process, and to be treated like just another number once you’ve gotten to know some of the staff is off putting.
- Are you a risk taker? What was the most stressful job you’ve held?

Anonymous Employee in Charlotte, NC
