I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Kimley-Horn (Mobile, AL) in May 2020
Interview
Had a phone interview, asking basic questions of why I was interested in civil engineering, where I saw myself in 5 years, why Kimley-Horn, etc. COVID hit and never heard back, so fairly disappointed in that lack of communication.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kimley-Horn (West Palm Beach, FL)
Interview
Straight forward, expectations were discussed and future prospects. Bringing in potential clients and discussing new networking opportunities. Some technical questions. Also shareholder opportunities and potential bonuses were discussed for career projection.
I first had a phone interview with HR/a recruiter from Kimley Horn, and after that I was brought in for an in-person interview. It was not a very difficult process. I did decline the offer.
Standard interviews with HR as well as hiring manager and respective team members. For applicants who are coming directly from school, be prepared to present on a project you worked on to demonstrate your ability in engineering/planning.
