The interview process at Kohl’s for a sales associate was pretty straightforward. I started with an online application, followed by a quick phone call to confirm my availability and experience. Then I had an in-person interview at the store, where they asked questions about teamwork, customer service, and handling difficult situations.

Tell me about a time you helped a customer and went above and beyond.
It was a pretty standard interview with situational questions and they explained the job duties. They also took me around the store to show me around and introduce me to everyone.
Pretty straight forward, the interview was like any other for any clothing company. Pretty quick, from call to being on the job took 1-2 weeks minimum. Though pay wasn’t that great, it was still a good learning experience.

Very easy! They asked about my experience and ask me a few behavioral questions and then discuss about the role. The manager was really nice and really enjoyed it as a first job!
