I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Kohl's (Roseville, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
Applied online and received an email the following day asking for an interview. One week later went to the interview and was brought to the back shortly after arriving. The process was quick and was one on one.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is the most important aspect of retail to you?
Fairly easy interview with standard questions about experience and availability. The interviewer was professional and explained the role clearly. I was surprised to learn of evening availability requirements that were not reflected in the availability I submitted on my application.
The interview process was pretty straightforward, virtual interview a week after applying. Didn't have many issues or anything confusing. I did ended up working there. Managers were ok but pay was pretty low.
Phone screening interview to go over resume and job requirements, mainly confirming what my availability would look like, what it entailed, and if I'd be comfortable with the sales part of the job/promoting the store rewards and credit card. Very friendly and low-pressure conversation over the phone.
