I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kohl's (Hiram, GA) in Sep 2013
Interview
Applied online at snagajob.com and a few days later I missed my interview call. I called back the next morning and set up an interview for two days later. I thought maybe I would have a group interview from reading all the comments on here, but I did not and was glad! I arrived 15 minutes early and was told how to get the HR office. There were other candidates there filling out applications and one person waiting for their interview. The interview was very relaxed and the lady asked questions from a form. Glad that I read the interview questions on here because it was exactly what was asked, so that made me feel confident. I passed the initial interview and was asked to fill out the application. Was told someone would contact within a week once background check and reference check.

Question 1
None of the questions were difficult because I already knew what to expect. Tell me about yourself, why do want to work at Kohl's, can you sell credit cards, is the customer always right, tell me about a time you went above and beyond, how do you know when a customer is satisfied.

Interview
I had a remotely easy interview process that went pretty quick. They asked the average questions, but the pay was not the best so I did not go with them.

Question 1
Can you name a time you had to show good teamwork?
scheduled Zoom interview TWICE and both times, I waited in appropriate "room" and no one from Kohls "showed up". I even called the local store and asked if I should keep waiting, who ever answered checked and they said yes, they will be right with you. I waited over 30 minutes each time.

Question 1
They asked me to be available for a zoom call at a specified time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Kohl's (Fort Smith, AR) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview was completely online, and I spoke with someone from HR. The interview was incredibly short and lacked much substance. The interview consisted of basic questions about when I would be available, but also included a personal question about going out of my way to help somone. All in all, it was a horrible experience.
