No surprise questions. Friendly and competent folks, who were respectful, curious about me, and open to answering questions. These folks interview for a living and did not waste time with routine questions that invite predictable answers. They pursued genuine conversation about my skills, experience, interests and potential contributions.

Why do you think you'd be a good fit for this position?
Long interview process that took several months. I was told multiple times how interested they were but slow follow-up. For a global executive search firm, their own hiring process was pretty clunky. Offer made was lower than originally discussed.
