I was scheduled for a first interview and spent three hours researching Korn Ferry, including reading the annual report. When I tried to connect to the Zoom call it said the meeting was canceled. I called the recruiter and she said she canceled the meeting and acted surprised I called her -- but I never was notified of a cancellation. When I asked why, she said upon further review of my resume I lacked the background necessary. I asked what, specifically, and she said what, in fact, I had a background in. Very unprofessional and, frankly, impolite.
