I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kumon (Bethlehem, PA) in Jan 2017
Interview
They just had me work with kids and didn’t really ask questions. they just wanted to know if I could handle the job on top of my first one then made me work with kids/ do their job without pay for 30 minutes.
Apply using you CV, if your CV is suitable you will be invited for an interview in person. Normal interview questions are asked, strengths and weaknesses, skills and examples of when you've shown it etc
During my interview process, I first submitted my application and academic credentials, which were reviewed to confirm my subject knowledge and qualifications. I then took part in a short interview where I discussed my academic background, tutoring experience, and availability, with a focus on my communication skills and approach to supporting students. The process concluded with reference checks and onboarding, where expectations, academic integrity, and tutoring guidelines were outlined.
It was short and sweet, and rather dull and blunt. It didn't make me want to work here. The students did not feel happy to work with us when I observed them hard at work
