Several interviews through LTTS...didn't seem like they really knew what the subject matter was in detail, softballed questions, webex, multiple phone screens. Coordination and Professionalism was much better when it was handled by ACIS group. They were hindered though by having a working relationship with LTTS.
Finally got a offer to go for a onsite interview through LTTS to construction site 4 hours drive from my home. Client said "do not let him pay for anything out of pocket, charge it to my account." EVERYONE said "dont worry, dont worry..you will be reimbursed for your expenses." Site was a secured site where you had to go through security for access. The day of the travel and BEFORE the interview, I still did not have any contact information for the LTTS handler or the onsite client OR where to go once there. I had to initiate contact with LTTS to get this information. I arrived the next day at the site drove up to security and said I was here for a interview with so and so. That I was told all I had to do was tell security the reason for my being there and security would direct me as to where to go. Yes they did. "Sorry Sir, you are not on the clearance list, you need to leave the property RIGHT now!"
Luckily there was a storage unit business across the street so I drove there and parked. I called both the LTTS rep and the onsite client. "OHH, how do you get security clearance?" Finally i get a call back they got it squared away and i got access and directions to where next to check in. Client had me call him 5 minutes later to meet me in lobby. He lead me to lunch room where I met another team member - who later told me she had only been working with LTTS for 2 years and STILL had not made up her mind if she was going to stay with them or not. Anyways..we were supposed to do a site walk of the construction site, but they were not prepared to do that because well they didnt bother bringing any of the required PPE with them. So I was left there for 10 minutes while they went off to find me a pair of gloves, hardhat and safety vest (I was already wearing the safety shoes and glasses).
Interview lasted for 4 hours, basically softball questions about safety.
I left there drove 4 hours home.
Recruiter from ACS called and asked if I got an offer. I said no. She was surprised because I was 100% supposed to be getting an offer. I told her that the client said they were still interviewing other candidates, she was shocked and said no you were the only one left out of 3 candidates. Later when I spoke to LTTS handler, he said yes that the client was using other recruiting companies ACS didn't know about. Seems to be a really big disconnect between these two firms that I thought were part of the larger parent company.
So a week goes by no offer, no talk of submitting reimbursement. Again I had to send MULTIPLE emails to ACS who emailed LTTS. "YES YES YOU WILL BE PAID" Finally on Sunday afternoon NEXT week, I got an email from LTTS with a form and sparse information on how to submit my reimbursement.
ANOTHER WEEK HAS GONE BY SINCE SUBMITTAL. NO OFFER. NO MONEY. NO COMMUNICATION.
***RUN AWAY FROM LTTS.***
ACS SEEMS OKAY TO WORK WITH, BUT LTTS PART OF COMPANY IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
