I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at LinkedIn in Feb 2016
Interview

Advice to potential applicants: linkedin creates digital products and as a result looks for digital projects in your portfolio. Apps, interfaces, websites, etc. are essential to appealing to their tastes. For interaction design, practice in userflows, wireframes and mockups are also beneficial.
I applied online. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
The interview started with a phone screening but got ghosted shortly after even though I was told it seemed like a perfect fit. Recruiters are hidden behind a software for scheduling and it means you really can’t reach out to anyone after the fact.

Question 1
Describe how you’ve worked with teams outside your own?
LinkedIn's interview process was relatively casual. It was mostly talking to others on the various teams I would be in contact with. I actually enjoyed the whole experience! Everyone was friendly and felt like they enjoyed their jobs.
