      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at LinkedIn (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2021

      Interview

TLDR: The process was a little messy and impersonal. I applied online, and was emailed by recruiter to schedule initial interview. They seemed to be having problems with their system, so when they emailed me back confirming a time, the email never got to my inbox (I double triple checked, and there was nothing). Luckily I followed up prior to my 'scheduled' interview time, and we were able to move forward with the initial time. We chatted on the phone for ~45 mins, pretty general questions, but it became clear the role was focus was largely on analytics vs. business/product ops knowledge. I received an email a few days later saying "we've unfortunately decided to go in another direction". Overall, it just felt a little messy and impersonal. I was surprised that a company that's core product is matching candidates with positions, had such a glitchy process when it came to their own hiring.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Mountain View, CA) in Jul 2015

      Interview

Applied on LinkedIn.com and got an email from recruiter the next day. Followed by 2 phone interviews, 3 on-site, met 13 different individuals in total. It was a great experience. Felt like I learned a lot although the 2 month process seemed too long. I also wondered why I had to meet so many people and why it took so many people and so many rounds to figure out if I were a good fit or not for the role. Regardless, it was a great learning experience. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Fav feature, not so fav feature, how would you test this or that. Essentially product related, had lot of fun answering them.
