I applied online. I interviewed at LinkedIn (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2022
Interview
Had a phone screen. Recruiter was polite and transparent. Didn't get moved forward to next round. She said that my background looked like I moved around too much. The phone call last twenty minutes or so. I now know to take away a position on my resume and it makes more sense to have a gap than short stint role on my resume resume.

Interview
At first, the interview process was great. I had applied, then a recruiter reached out for a phone screen and I had a zoom interview set up with the manager within 30 minutes.
The zoom interview was majority behavioral questions (STAR method) and some basic questions. Which I felt went well, good enough for the manager to verbally state she wanted to move me to round 3. That was the first week of September, and it is now about to be October.
I’ve followed up with the recruiter to which I have now been ghosted with no response. I have to say, for a company as global and “great” as LinkedIn, you’d think they would have the courtesy to at least tell me that I didn’t get selected.
Overall, this process has left a very bad taste for me and I hope this isn’t common practice.
