I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin in Mar 2013
Interview
I started off as a Financial Analyst Asc. I only interviewed with the hiring manager although many people have told me that they interviewed with more than one person. The interview process was pretty simple and straight forward. The manager mainly asked me about my experience, previous workplaces, etc. If I could recommend something, it would be that try to be more personable with the interviewer(s). Remember that they look for people with soft skills too. Because of the method of finance that they use, most people need training on that anyway. So your former financial analyst skills may not matter all that much.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Lockheed Martin (Stamford, CT) in Feb 2026
Interview
Average interview experience. Friendly interviewers, less conversational than I expected it to be. Hard to gage reaction through screen, but we had some decent off-road conversations. Star method helped out a lot. Make everything into a positive.
Easy, comfortable, and very conversarional and open minded. Talking to the managers were easy. One round interview and quick process all around considering and especially nowadays in the market. Albeit, offer took some time to come kn
