I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Macy's (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2016
Interview
I initially met with recruiters at a college career fair, then participated in an behavioral/situational interview, and was then flown to New York for the final rounds of interviews. The final round included a tour of the Herald Square Macy's location on the first night and then a full day of interviews the second day. There were behavioral, group collaboration, and situational interviews. Over all it was a great experience and the recruiters were awesome. I personally didn't see the job benefitting where I plan to go with my career so I declined but it was after a lot of internal debate.
The interview process was lengthy but very conversational. I think there were 3-5 rounds. There was also a technical interview for your specific function that you took online in a closed browser.
It was easy. Just be yourself and don’t overthink it. First was a 15 min screening call over the phone. Then a 45 min zoom call with another individual. Questions related to past experience and how you deal with certain situations.
There were 3 rounds. The first is just an hr screening. You then have to take 2 exams for the second round. After the exams there is one final round. The process was very straightforward.
