I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Macy's (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2013
Interview
First interviews: two part series. First half was a situation based question, tested your analytical and business skills. Second half was more behavioral type questions.
Waited two weeks to hear back from the college recruiter. Went through 2-day interview for second round. The company paid for a night at a hotel nearby the flagship store where I would have my interview. First day was full of introductions, second day was full of interviews (both group and individual).
Heard back from recruiter two weeks later.
The interview process was lengthy but very conversational. I think there were 3-5 rounds. There was also a technical interview for your specific function that you took online in a closed browser.
It was easy. Just be yourself and don’t overthink it. First was a 15 min screening call over the phone. Then a 45 min zoom call with another individual. Questions related to past experience and how you deal with certain situations.
There were 3 rounds. The first is just an hr screening. You then have to take 2 exams for the second round. After the exams there is one final round. The process was very straightforward.
