Maintech Desktop Support interview questions

Recruiter set up interview with their client, Maintech. It was a phone interview, and I was offered the job within 2 days. (e-mail said "... preliminary... upon client acceptance of background check and drug test ...") I completed background and drug test promptly, knowing there would be no issues and to get working ASAP. THEN, Maintech's client wanted a face to face, "meet and greet", according to the recruiter. That person said "no decision has been made ... as to who would be hired ..." I got back to the recruiter. I was kept waiting about 10 days before I was told by the recruiter that the "... position was cancelled." Maintech and their staffing firm they contracted with were totally bush league. Avoid at all costs.
