I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Marshalls (Houston, TX) in Sep 2014
Interview
In my case, I had an interview with both the store manager and assistant manager. I waited at the front of the store until they called me into an office. They asked me a series of questions you would usually expect from an interview. I was later followed up with a call stating that I got the job.

Cool process, nothing to worry about. Go in and be your best self. It was a fairly simple process more of a nice conversation, but still prepare I would say. Best tip I have is just have eye contact

Pretty short and straight to the point. Ask you basic scenarios, past work experiences, all that good stuff. They also ask technical questions like are you a us citizen and what not. But overall super easy.
