I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Maurices
Interview
I had 3 individual interviews with a different manager each time. It was annoying and seemed unnecessary at the time, but the company does multiple interviews to ensure that all associates are compatible (since working in a building full of women all day can get a little crazy)! Questions were personal but straightforward. They basically just asked my "most memorable work experience" "one thing I do well, one thing I can improve on" etc.. A "Success Profile" is required in order to even be considered for an interview. Unless you pass it almost flawlessly (which honestly isn't that difficult), odds are the managers will not call you in for an interview.

Question 1
Have you ever received constructive criticism from an employer, and if so, what was it about?
I applied online. I interviewed at Maurices (North Branch, MN) in Apr 2026
Interview
In the back room, no styling a mannequin as seen sometimes, pretty average but some confusing questions, questions about experience, scheduling, pay, skills, how to resolve conflicts, your relationships with customers or coworkers , accomplishments, etc.
Interview was good. Basic questions. A couple questions about style like what is my favorite fashion trend at the moment. Overall an average interview. Other questions were about customer service.
In person interview ~40 min, was an average interview with normal questions. Got an offer the day of through a phone call later that day. Overall average interview process, start with phone call and ended with offer over the phone.
