I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Meta (Toronto, ON) in Apr 2019
Interview
It was okay. Very automated. It was also a very long time ago so there are probably details I am forgetting. Overall, it felt like a pretty average experience, something that you would go through when applying at any job.
I applied online. I interviewed at Meta (Washington, DC) in Mar 2019
Interview
The process was smooth but the outcome was weird. There were many unconscious biases at play and it was key that diversity and racial equity were/are not priorities for FB.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Meta
Interview
I was recommended by a colleague, which means HR had to look at my profile. They said they were impressed. The interview finished very quickly, though, after they asked me if I had experience with lobbying a specific stakeholder, to which I answered honestly (it takes up around 20-25% of my current job responsibilities, as opposed to other two stakeholders that make up the remaining 75%). They said they were looking someone for that specific stakeholder and said they would be in touch if other positions came up.
