I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA) in Oct 2021
Interview
Expect a behavioral and technical interview. The technical interview consisted of two parts. The first part was basic sql questions given sample data tables. You are expected to explain your query. The second part are analysis questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Analysis questions on hypothetical scenarios. Such as what metrics would i use to make decisions on whether to implement a feature.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Meta
Interview
1st round was Python - easy LeetCode questions (4-5). Anyone with some Python experience should be able to crack this.
2nd round was SQL - medium LeetCode questions (all depended on the first problem statement). They have their own coding platform, so get comfortable with that.
The process was pretty smooth and good experience, there are several rounds but the whole process was pretty long, lasted about 4 months, did not make to the final round though.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Meta (Menlo Park, CA)
Interview
Overall the interview went well, it was mostly python questions the first round followed by an opportunity for me to ask some questions. The next round was SQL questions followed by an opportunity to ask some questions again
