After sending the CV, they send email for a HackerRank exam. Emails I received from HR were AI generated, they didn't even bothered to edit the message so it was like "Hi, My name is 'RecuiterName' and happy to....". I had a technical problem with HackerRank, even though I tried to take it on time, it was giving "Invite no longer exists" kind of error. After reaching out to recruiter, they sent another url. Then there was online interview process. In a day, there were 3 one hour long interviews where nobody cared about the personal or behavioural questions. It was obvious that they were reading questions from somewhere and not really listening my answers. After 10 minutes, they sent HackerRank url and asked me to explain and solve the question while sharing my screen. So, overall experience was not good for me.
I applied online. I interviewed at Microsoft (Melbourne)
Interview
After submitting an online application, I received a HackerRank assessment after passing the resume screening stage, then I was rejected after completing the assessment and did not proceed to further interview rounds.

Question 1
The assessment consisted of two LeetCode-medium-level coding questions to be completed within 75 minutes.
45 mins technical interview with a member of their San fran team. Very relaxed and informal but questions were focused and lots of follow ups. Easy to schedule as was over video conferencing platform
Straightforward technical loop overall, with strong interviewers at every stage. I genuinely enjoyed the in-depth conversations around technical challenges and algorithmic problem-solving — the entire process felt well-structured and genuinely engaging.
