Applied on-line. Had a phone screen with the recruiter then a fact to face with the hiring manager. While NRDC appears to have a great mission, the position responsibilities appeared very uncertain and poorly organized - a mix of facilities management, purchasing, sustainability and finance. Very few candidates will possess such a wide variety of experience. Hiring Manager, while well educated and bright, was of little assistance in explaining what he was looking for in a candidate. Many of the question posed to me appeared illogical and/or irrelevant and appeared to be more for the sake of his showing off what appeared to be his inflated view of his knowledge rather than for valid job reasons. He finished by stating that it would likely take several months to complete the process! Very disorganized and unprofessional!
