AVOID THIS PLACE! They are bunch of complete time-wasters! They did not ask me a single finance related question, yet they asked me a number of safety related questions. Perhaps if I had applied for a Safety-related position, maybe then I would have been asked some finance related questions....What was the point of mentioning "knowledge of accounting Standards" in the job spec if you weren't even going to ask any questions on them??? One of the interviewers asked me if I knew the 10 life-saving rules and he later rudely asked if I had visited their website. Of course I visited their website, but how does the these safety rules apply within an office/hybrid workplace? Its absolutely ridiculous! Ironically, it isn't the first time I've had a negative experience with Network Rail. I previously applied for their Finance Graduate Scheme where I was selected for the final stage and yet I was interviewed by 2 NON-FINANCE staff members. Yes, you read that right. They didn't even give me feedback after spending 3 months on the application. This company has serious issues with its recruitment, particularly at the interview stages. Avoid at all costs!
