I applied through college or university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Nielsen in Nov 2011
Interview
I went to an information session and then submitted my resume through my college. I got an email after the deadline that I was selected for a first round 45 minute interview at my school. First round had questions mentioned in previous posts about Listerine etc. Then took the 90 minute assessment with math and 2 case studies (soap situation and forgot other). I got a call 2 days later from the interviewer that I was selected for a second round interview on site (in my city) that would take place in a month. I had 3 45 minute interviews with 1 person from each sector of Professional Services. About 4 days after second round I got a call from HR saying I was given an offer and the I received the offer letter a week later. I accepted.
A recruiter started with a quick phone chat to get to know ,e better. Asked about my background, experience, and why I'm interested in the role. Got a few behavioral questions to see if my values aligned with Nielsen’s culture.
An interview followed by an in person case study. The process was fairly straight forward but the case is not easy if you are not an analytical person to begin with.
I applied online. I interviewed at Nielsen (Kuala Lumpur)
Interview
It very easy. Basic question are asked. They ask what did I work as in previous company and how I can contribute to current role. Ask why I want to join the company.
