Interview
I filled out an online application for Nordstrom Rack some time around May and got a call back the very next day. The person asked me why I wanted to work at Nordstrom, then asked if I was looking for a permanent position or just a temporary. I said I was only available for the summer, and she explained that they were only looking for permanents at that time, but suggested that I try another Nordstrom.
So easy, I went to a job fair and was hired on the spot. They need people in the kids department, that's the easiest section to get into. They just ask about your personality and who you are.
Was inside Barton creek mall, hiring manager was prompt and clear with questions ranging from how I would handle difficult customers, to my personal experiences that could apply to the job.
