At the store, I was greeted and taken to their back offices. I first sat with the HR lady I had talked to on the phone and answered a few more generic behavioral questions that related to sales. She asked me which departments I was interested in working in and introduced me to the manager of one of those departments. The department manager asked me to pretend like she was a customer and try and sell her some clothes. The whole in store interview process took about an hour. The next day, the HR lady called and told me that the department manager I had hired decided to go with someone else but she wanted to find another department for me to work in. I went in for another interview at the shoe department that was similar to the one I had before. The HR lady later called and told me that I had gotten the job at the shoe department.
