Mostly a three stage process. Basically starts with screening, then coding interview and final onsite. Once you get your foot at the door and get a screening, all you need to do basically is show your skill and knowledge in the rest of the interviews. I think the biggest challenge is getting your foot at the door. Overall, very stress free and straightforward.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Okta (Toronto, ON)
Interview
The first two rounds including phone screening and one technical round went fine, but none of the interviewers for those two rounds know the project and hiring team well. Got to know the project during panel round, but they scheduled 4 hours of panel round including another2 hours of technical round. Seems like they want to hire Java not people.

The interview went pretty well until the last round. As soon as I was half way through the final interview round, I almost made sure, I am not going to join them. The guy was arrogant and behaved like he was some Steve Jobs !! I tried to control my emotions but I got frustrated. I got an offer from AMAZON the next day so it wouldn't have mattered to me any way but I am glad I didn't get through this interview. I would rather go unemployed than working with that guy.
Message to him - Be humble and nice even if you make it really big (which you haven't)
