      Operations Associate Interview

      Jun 2, 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Sofia, Sofia (city)
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at OpenPayd (Sofia, Sofia (city)) in Apr 2026

      Interview

I can confidently say that the interview process I underwent when applying to OpenPayd was the best experience I've ever had when it comes to applying to jobs. The application period consisted of 2 virtual interviews 1 in-person interview in the office + an assessment that I had to complete. The first interview was with the company's recruiter who managed to answer all of my questions regarding the position that were left unclear from the page I applied from. The second interview was with the OM's of the department and it was more focused around getting to know each other and reviewing my previous professional experience along with a more in-depth review of the tasks and responsibilities I will have to execute if I were to step in the role. In the final in-office interview we reviewed the assessment that I had submitted and spent more time discussing the non-operational part of my application as both me and my interviewer wanted to make sure that I am the right fit for this team. The interview process was very pleasant and I really appreciate that all of the people I spoke through were incredibly down to earth and showcased genuine interest in getting to know me as a person rather than just an employee. The good tone and light approach of the interviewers really allowed me to shake off the initial nerves and helped me present myself to the best of my ability which I am very thankful for.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at OpenPayd (Sofia, Sofia (city)) in Apr 2026

      Interview

The interview process was long but very informative and well structured. At first we had a meeting to talk about the company and I had a chance to introduce myself. Consecutively, there was a meeting with management. Then there was a meeting in person, where I was able to present the task that was given. And lastly I had a meeting with my direct manager, as I applied for a different position at first, but was later chosen for the aforementioned one.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What stuck with me was the question if I think that I will fit in the new position, given the fact that while I hade semi-relevant experience in a previous position, it was a little different than the one I currently hold.
