The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pfizer (Dallas, TX) in Sep 2010
Interview
Being a "drug rep" just ain't what it used to be. Eventually, sales reps will go the way of the horse and buggy for the most part. Specialty sales positions are where the industry is headed overall.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time when you weren't able to make the sale. What did you learn from it. Give me an example of how you applied that (what you learned) in a recent sale.
There were several steps that included starting with a phone interview and progressing to in person panel interviews. You also had to interview directly with the DM you would be assigned to. It took about 30-45 days before an offer was made.
Smooth and quick process. Met a lot of people at the company. Process was professional and also flexible. The questions were situational and related to the role of a sales rep. Liked the culture and people.
