interview in the restruant and asked questions about why I wanted to be a server and whether i would be able to make a difference to peoples days. They want to know that you will always have a smile on your face when providing service.

Over the phone. Asked a lot of questions about past experience. Then an in person interview asking about what skills I have and how I would go about doing this job.
