Interview
Applied online, got an interview offer via email within a week, then got offered the job and waited a further 2 weeks for my induction (during this time had to fill out lots of documents and complete an online quiz), and then started working properly after my induction. i'd recommend that you put together a word document of loads of questions that they could ask as it could be completely random; be confident and bubbly, don't be afraid to relax in your interview and just enjoy yourself primarily
you interviewer will either be the stores HR manager OR your future department manager so if they offer you a job make sure you liked your interviewer as it may be the person that bosses you around in the future!

- scenario if someone wanted to buy an item but you were out of stock what would you do? check stock room to make sure, ask stock supervisor, ring local store, suggest an alternative product
- what are your hobbies/what do you like to do
- do you have any questions
Questions you would expect in majority retail roles. Questions about shop floor interactions. Customer interactions etc. There's only a few questions. Interview focuses the most on your soft skills and your approach to the retail environment.

very smooth, just went up to the checkout area and said i have an interview, we sat in the back and i just got asked a few questions, very friendly it felt more personal and easier to talk compared to other interviews i have had
