I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Westminster, CO) in Feb 2010
Interview
When I applied online, they contacted me a few days later and I was set up to take a personality and IQ test at a local office. You go in to take the tests, and it is a pass/fail result right on the spot. After that I was set up with a phone interview. This consists of STAR questions. I felt that I did really well. They ask you to disclose your previous salary (I made a lot more money in my previous job), and that was the reason they gave for not getting a 1:1 interview. They said I did an excellent job in the phone interview, but the salary for the position wouldn't make me happy... apparently they know me better then I know myself :P
