I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (New York, NY) in May 2023
Interview
Don't waste your time. If you've interviewed in the past 6 to 8 months don't even bother. This company will continuously reject your applications after that and then send a generic email saying that you can't apply. Here's the catch..after waiting until after the 6-8 month period you may get invited for the interview process to self record responses to 7 questions in STAR format. Once that's done the follow up next business day only to tell you that since you have applied in past 6 months or so you have to now wait 12 months. A joke. Huge run around and waste of valuable time.

The interview process is pretty strenuous. You do have an assessment that you have to take. Before you get the in person interview. After you do the assessment you do have virtual star question method questions that you have to answer. If you don’t do well with that you won’t get the final interview with the recruiter or hiring person. Definitely study STAR questions. They’re kinda hard. And then the final interview they do ask you a few star questions as well. You can use the ones from your virtual interview. It was really easy-going though. I did appreciate how easy the conversation was for the final interview.
