I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Miami, FL) in Aug 2015
Interview
They interview a lot of people, but take very few. You need to pass a couple of personality tests which really take just a little research and prep, since they want you to answer in the "STAR" format that they explain to you. Do some research on these and you'll pass, but that doesn't mean you're in. Don't get too excited that you make it to the actual interview stage, everything before that is really just them wasting your time, since they will be bringing you to the interview with multiple other candidates also applying at the same time.

Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a difficult customer.
It was a fairly lengthly process which involved the application, an assessment, pre-recorded one way interview, and a live virtual interview. Asked behavior-based STAR questions. It was extensive with at least 10 questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Allentown, PA) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process is extensive, there are several levels after applying for the position. Initially there are several questions to answer followed by a video interview with Behavioral questions to be answered in their STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result) followed by the following interview with an actual manager. This interview was also answering additional behavioral questions in the STAR format and answering several other questions. After all was said and done. I received an e-mail informing me they went a different direction.
