      Process Consultant Interview

      Aug 24, 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Protiviti in Oct 2013

      Interview

Met at campus career fair. Received information from company recruiter, was told to make sure I applied online immediately after. Heard back about two weeks later, was informed I had an on campus interview with a pre reception the evening before. Interview consisted of two parts: a brief case study, and multiple behavioral interviews. Case study was fairly simple, they sent a process map the night before and then give you the scenario in the interview and ask you a few questions about where you would improve, what you should ask, etc. Behavioral questions were with a different person, but covered standard behavioral questions such as: tell me about a time you had to work with a team, tell me about a time you were out of your comfort zone and how you responded, etc. After on campus interview was invited for office visit, which consisted of a couple meetings, but was mostly informative.

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Protiviti

      Interview

Applied online on the college portal. Got an email about a networking dinner and an on campus interview the next day. You get to meet one your interviewers in the networking dinner and the atmosphere was pretty chill. The interview day was also quite easy going, there was 30 mins of behavioral and 30 mins of case study. You get to look at the case study the night before the interview. The entire process was low pressure and quite enjoyable. Just be yourself, they really look for a culture fit.

      Interview

Applied online, visited them at the career fair, on campus interview of an hour-- 30 min behavioral and 30 min technical. Super laid back. Was invited for an office visit and dinner where there was a panel and then two more behavioral interviews where they just want to get to know you better. Overall, very relaxed.

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Protiviti (Boston, MA) in Oct 2017

      Interview

There was an event the night before the interview where I had the opportunity to meet some current employees and the other candidates. Everyone was seated at tables and there were a limited number of seats, so it was difficult to talk to more than one of the employees. I had two back-to-back 30 minute interviews on campus the next day. One of the interviews was a case study. I was emailed a process diagram the night before the interview, then during the interview I was given some additional information about the case. The interviewer asked some questions about how I would improve the process and to identify some risks in the process. Make sure you review the types of solutions Protiviti offers to clients. It seemed like they were looking for a specific "right" answer to some of the questions. The other interview was just standard behavioral questions. Know why you want to work at Protiviti and why that specific position. My interviewer was nice, but she wasted the majority of the time talking about herself, which left me little time to answer/ask questions. I heard back from them within a week.
