Interview
I applied in store at their kiosks, and wasn't really hopeful because jobs these days are scarce. Literally 6 hours later, I got a call from the customer service manager & we just went over and confirmed my availability & other things that I put on my application. He scheduled me for an interview about two days later I believe. I interviewed with him, it lasted about 30 min. and it was pretty much a basic interview (how would you describe yourself, tell me about your work experience, how will it help you with this job, what can you bring to this store). He then scheduled me for another interview the next day with the store manager. At that interview, the questions were pretty much the same, but a more in depth answer was needed, and it was pretty much like a regular conversation, just about the job. I was offered the position, then was asked to take a drug test in office. I would get a call back when the results came in.
The interview process at Publix was pleasant and moved quickly. From the moment I applied, the communication was clear and professional. I was contacted within a few days to schedule an interview, and the in-person conversation felt friendly and straightforward. The interviewer made me feel comfortable, asked thoughtful questions, and gave me a clear overview of the role. Overall, it was an easy, smooth experience that left a great impression of the company.
Filled out the application online, got contacted for an interview the day after, setting the interview with the customer service manager for 2 days later. I went through the interview process as a senior in high school looking for their first job. I felt like the interviewer understood that & tailored with the questions to fit my entry-level status. They were very cordial & provided a comfortable interview environment. However, there was a bit of a waiting period between submitting the application & getting a call-back to schedule the interview.
