I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Publix (Snellville, GA) in May 2014
Interview
It was a pretty basic interview... I had a recommendation put in on my behalf by a district manager who was previously that location's store manager. If it wasn't for that I probably wouldn't have received the interview due to the high volume of applications the store had received.

Question 1
Tell me when you turned around a negative situation.
First, you have to take an online assessment during the application and then you get scheduled for an in-person interview if they like your responses. The assessment was pretty lengthy and had a variety of customer service and situational questions, and the interview was pretty serious for the low level position I was taking.
