I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Regal (Long Beach, CA) in Feb 2013
Interview
I applied in person, and received a call about a week later to schedule an interview. They gave me a rules and regs packet to look over while I waited to be called in. The interview was fairly straightforward; the manager was nice and the questions were simple. However, my availability didn't match up with the shifts they wanted.
Asks questions about experience with customers and how to deal with messy situations. Must be willing to have a flexible schedule and be able to work long shifts. Very good overall and very kind people.
Met in person for 30-ish minutes with two managers who were just a few years older than me. They asked questions ranging from my past experiences to my love for film and availability.
