    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Riverbend Community Mental Health (Concord, NH) in April 2016.

    Interview

No phone interview, I just received a telephone call from a manager who just asked about my salary requirements and then scheduled me for an in person interview at their office . The interview lasted about 35 minutes. That was two weeks ago and since then I never heard any feedback back on my employment candidacy.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Riverbend Community Mental Health (Concord, NH) in September 2014.

    Interview

I first received a call from admin that included a phone interview. She also provided me with details about the open positions and the pay range. After I passed this she set me up with a face-to-face interview. When I arrived for my interview I had to fill out some paperwork and provide a clinical writing sample. In my face-to-face interview there were 4 interviewers, but I felt pretty comfortable. They provided me with a packet on benefits info, also. I'm pretty sure the entire process only lasted about 30 minutes. They got back to me within about a week to offer me the position.

    Interview Questions

    • Phone Interview: What does recovery from mental illness mean to you? What makes you qualified for this position?
Face-to-face Interview: Why the mental health field? 3 positive qualities about yourself? Areas where you can improve? A time when you handled a conflict at work? How would you feel if you had to help someone change their soiled clothing?   Answer Question

The interview process was very straightforward. The clinician who interviewed me was very warm, personable, and smart, and she seems like an excellent clinician. Reference checking is handled by the Human Resources department, and they get the process done quickly and efficiently. Everyone I interacted with there was very warm and helpful.
