      Nov 25, 2016

      Bengaluru
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Robert Bosch (Bengaluru) in Sep 2016

      Interview

The interview is split into 2 rounds. 1) Technical (20 -25 mins) 2) HR (30 - 40 mins) I had a EEE background, so most of the questions asked for me for electrical based. It was very well organised and the interview process was completed by evening. First there was this technical round, very straightforward questions were asked, after i passed this round they handed out a form to fill for HR. My HR round went pretty well. They just look at your approach to the problems and be crystal clear of your answers. Don't beat around the bush. The interviewer sets a very comfortable vibe so you don't need to be nervous.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Technical round:- - Tell me about yourself - Brief me about your project - Write the code you used for your project - Relate it to control system and draw a block diagram (showing input, output, plant, feedback) - A cruise ship is powered by the engine which is coupled to the generator which in-turn is coupled to a motor and to the other electrical equipments of the ship. If the motor fails, what will happen to the rest of the loads? and what will you do to rectify this problem. - Few other general questions were asked : What is a BJT, what is domestic loads and industrial loads:which is more inductive?, how will you control the speed of the motor? HR:- - How was your technical interview. - Tell me something about yourself that isn't there in your resume - What are your strengths and weakness - How do you think you can adapt to the corporate world? - How is college different from the office environment - If your team leader/manager doesn't comply to your suggestions/opinion for the project, how will you react? - Tell me something about your family - Where do you stay? - Will you be going for higher education? - Are you ready to re-locate? - Were you forced to take up engineering ? - Why did you take Electrical and electronics as your major? - How will you describe yourself in one word? - What do you think of BOSCH, why this company. - which other companies did you write ? - how did you get eliminated from those companies? - do you have any other offers?

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Robert Bosch (Coimbatore) in Sep 2023

      Interview

I attended the interview through my college compus for mobility software developer. First round is MCQ and coding questions(c,c++) . I would say it was quite difficult. I managed to solve 1 coding question fully and another half way. Second round is Technical interview, this depends whole on the interviewer. Some interviewers may check your basic fundamentals and others may ask difficult questions.Like i said, it depends on the person interviewing you. Once it is done, HR round is not to be feared.
