Phone interview first, followed by an in person interview with direct manager and a tour of the hospital. The interview was based around finding out if the rehab team and I were a good fit for each other.

Interview process was easy. Once hired there’s employee health stuff that needs to be completed. So be sure have your vaccination records and COVID vax card as well. If you do need your flu or t dap the hospital can give it to you.
- Are you up to date on all vaccines?

Good, there were a lot of questions about experience, how to care for others, why the area is interesting to me, what future plans would be, and what capabilities I had. Overall it was not too long and the interviewers were very nice.

The interview process was a long thorough process they asked lots of questions. They want to make sure you are competent and able to handle working in a hospital setting. It did take a while to hear back from someone in regards to if I got the position.
- Why should we hire you?

The interview with the hospital representative was very routine. I can't even remember much about it actually. The person was pleasant but didn't know anything about research--of course there was no reason they should. They knew I was already offered the job by the PI. Really, the whole thing was just a formality.
- They asked a little about the type of research I would be doing. Again, my interview process was not typical.
