I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ross Stores in Mar 2010
Interview
I applied online and a day later recieved a call for an interview (after the online assessment). I interviewed and the employer let me know that she would push my background check through. Then she called after getting the background check and set up an orientation date. She started me as part-time (as discussed in the interview) and now recieving full-time after less than a month of working there.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None. It was your basic when are you available and what do you expect to do here type questions.
Very awkward over all, they kept trying to 'trick' me by changing up certain words and seeing if id catch the change in the question. Also put you on some super old school website training.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked if I was someone who got hurt often or had bad things happen to me often
The interview process at Ross Dress for Less consisted of meeting with a store manager to discuss my customer service experience, cash handling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asked situational questions about handling customers, teamwork, and resolving problems. The process was straightforward and focused on my availability, work ethic, and ability to support store operations
Fast and easy! They mainly asked about my previous work experiences and my availability. They also asked what great customer service is like to you and why I would be a good fit to the company.
