I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SAIC (Arlington, VA) in Jun 2012
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter about a day or two after posting my resume in their database. After I talked with her and applied for the position officially, it took the hiring manager less than an hour to decide that they wanted to bring me in for a personal interview. I met the hiring manager and the next day they came to make me an offer.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SAIC in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview was fairly easy; they were asking easy questions, which I expected. Tech questions related to the job requirements were easy, and then some behavioral questions from HR. After that, they allow me to ask any questions about the company or the team.
There are a couple rounds including phone screening, behavior questions and technical questions (they usually have those interviews in one round). The process is straight forward and not having ridiculous questions for junior dev.
