I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SAP (Vancouver, BC) in Jul 2019
Interview
I was referred to the position through a friend in the company. HR was very nice and sent me an email asking to come in the next few days for an onsite interview. (only nice person through my experience)
When I got there the two people interviewing me were very rude and unprofessional, this was the first time in my tech career that I felt discriminated against being a female. They didn't seem prepared at all to interview anyone or ask questions, there were long breaks in between of them saying umm and I could tell they didn't want to be there.
They asked me technical questions about machine learning and engineering, although the position was for project coordinator intern which had nothing to do with these questions. Also asked me to draw a presentation on the board because they wanted to see my design skills (uhh what??). I've interviewed with multiple Fortune 500 companies and I can strongly say this was the most unorganized, mindless interview ever.
There were 3 interviews about experience, backgroung and practical project management knowledge, so the experience was smooth. The process was clear from the very beggining and the communication was permanent.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at SAP in Feb 2017
Interview
It was a quick phone interview with general questions that are usually asked in a screening interview. It included general questions of describe yourself, your strengths and weaknesses. They also asked some questions that were specifically on what you put in your resume. Lastly, it was done by a panel on the phone, with the person currently doing the position doing most of the questions.
