    The candidate recruitment, interview and offer experience with Sleep Number was the best I’ve been part of in my career. At every step of the journey, the Sleep Number team was transparent, ethical and genuinely passionate about their mission, vision and values.

    As it relates to the process itself, it included: A series of Skype interviews to discuss my background and larger approach to product, design and team leadership; two on-site “360” behavioral interviews with a broad representation from the company; a leadership evaluation with a consulting firm; checking of references.

    In all, it was certainly a thorough process, but really, it reflected the company’s commitment to their employees and the importance of cultural fit. By the end of it, I felt as if I was already part of the team and couldn’t wait to get started!

    First interview was with human resources. Second interview was with the regional manager. One short face-time interview. Third interview was with the district manager. Interview consisted of the standard questions regarding qualifications and experience. Overall a very good experience which included a store visit and review of the sales process.

    It was a three step interview process. The first interview was over the phone with HR, then I had an interview face to face with the district manager. After that I had an interview with the regional VP. The interview was pretty easy, there weren't any questions that I struggled to answer or that didn't apply to the position.
