I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Southern California Edison in May 2015
Interview
I first had a phone interview with a talent acquisition agent who asked me questions about my GPA, major, why did I choose my major. I was also asked about prior work experience and projects that I worked on from my resume. This interview was followed by a panel interview at a field office in Pomona, where I was interview by the two hiring managers. I was mostly asked behavioral questions at this interview.

Interview
They asked pretty difficult questions, but they reassured me that they expect and encourage candidates to take a while to answer.
The big thing, and almost only thing they want to know is if you're a good fit for their culture.
I wasn't asked at all to describe my past experiences, just asked behavioral questions.
Even though this was a position for Data Engineering, I was asked basic safety questions as well.
If you want to work at Edison, make sure you fit their company culture, cuz it seems like that's the only thing they really care about

Interview
They invited me for an interview about 1-2 weeks after I applied online. I was told it would be a panel of two people interviewing me, but there were actually four. Friendly environment and workplace, and the people were really nice (didn't feel like an interview at all). Mostly behavioral/situational questions, with some technical questions towards the end. They sent me an offer the following day.
