Interview
Typically, there is a phone screen followed by two interviews. The first is a virtual panel interview and the final is a one on one format with experience-based questions asked by the hiring manager.
Standard behavioral questions followed by open-ended discussion; 3-member panel; pleasant and they are not out to get you; I engaged vigorously but the reactions were muted; the position was in another location and I was asked if i'd relocate; there was a discussion and I said yes

This was pre-covid. There was a writing section, and then an interview with 2 people. Questions were more about how you handle prioritizing jobs, examples of influencing public policy outcomes, and examples changing the minds of superiors.
