I applied online. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (Dallas, TX) in Apr 2016
Interview
I applied on April 8th, 2015 around 9 or 10 pm PST. I received an email on March 22nd requesting information to fill out the 10 year application. My phone interview was about a week later with a very nice guy. Pretty basic, just like others have reported on here. Took about 30 minutes, and also had a lot of yes or no questions along with about 5 or 6 open ended questions, concluding with questions on my work history from my application. Passed the phone interview and have a F2F next week in Dallas. So far it has been a good experience, just can't believe today is exactly 1 year ago from the day I applied for the position.
Application, ODVI, F2F. All pretty straightforward, emphasize safety and customer service. If they like you, youll get moved onto F2F round. Practice STAR Method and be comfortable talking in front of a camera

Interview
So far, it has been moving at a great pace. I have only completed my on demand interview, and I am scheduled to attend my face to face in the near future! The online interview was great - be yourself, smile, and use the uninterrupted time to really express yourself! I'm very grateful for this opportunity and best of luck to all those applying!
